We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays from October to the end of April at the Methodist Church Hall in Scalwell Lane, Seaton. We meet from 10.00 until 12.00 starting with a cup of coffee and a good natter followed by a short business-meeting followed by the talk or presentation. Those members who wish to lunch then make their way to the Kings Arms.

Every other Wednesday throughout the year some members meet at a local coffee shop. This provides an opportunity to chat with other members and to keep in touch during the summer months when formal meetings are not taking place.

Additionally, an evening get-together is arranged, usually monthly at one of the local restaurants, for example: The Monsoon Indian or Winston’s. These are always well attended, very jovial and good fun.

Trips to the theatre are sometimes arranged and, in the summer, coach-outings to places of interest.  In 2015 we had a very enjoyable trip to Bristol to visit ss Great Britain. Other recent trips have included the Dartmouth and Paignton Steam Railway and Pecorama in Beer, where we were treated to a fascinating tour of the factory manufacturing model railway track, as well as taking a ride on the Beer Heights Light Railway. Wives, partners and friends are always welcome on these occasions.
